Features that matter
- Per-degree control vs presets. The Stagg EKG Pro sets any temperature from 104 to 212°F. The COSORI offers five presets. If your recipes use 205°F or a boil, presets are enough.
- Hold behavior. Holding temperature isn't perfectly flat. Coffee Review saw the OXO let the water drop about 3°F before reheating (Coffee Review).
- Display. Coffee Review found the OXO shows only the target temperature after heating.
- Capacity. 0.8–0.9 L for the electric kettles here. The stovetop Buono holds 800 ml in practice.
- Materials. COSORI says its kettle, lid and spout are stainless steel. Fellow lists 304 stainless with a BPA-free plastic handle and lid pull.
Timers
The Stagg EKG Pro has a brew stopwatch on its base, and the OXO has a timer of up to 10 minutes. Otherwise, use your scale's timer.

Recommendation
For daily pour-over with changing recipes, per-degree control like the Stagg EKG Pro's is worth having. For steady 205°F brewing, a preset kettle or a stovetop gooseneck with a thermometer does the job.
