The Stagg EKG Pro is the most fully featured kettle here. Fellow lists temperature control from 104 to 212°F, hold times of 15 to 60 minutes, a built-in brew stopwatch, scheduling, an altitude setting and 304 stainless steel, with a 2-year warranty. It suits pour-over brewers who want exact temperatures and fewer gadgets on the counter. The trade-off is a modest 0.9 L capacity.

Buy it if

  • You brew pour-over daily and want exact temperatures.
  • You want a timer built into the kettle base.

Skip it if

  • You often heat water for four or more cups at a time.
