Quick verdict

The Flair 49 PRO is the middle of Flair's current lineup. It has a 49 mm basket, 12–20 g doses, a 90 ml cylinder with up to 55 ml of yield, an all-stainless brew path, an integrated gauge and a 5-year limited warranty. Compared with the Classic, it allows bigger doses and longer drinks. Like all Flairs without a heater, it depends on a kettle and preheating.

Buy it if

  • You want lever espresso with room for 18–20 g doses.
  • A long warranty matters to you.
